How to check for encumbrances (liens) on a property?

According to § 69 of the Cadastral Act:

By requesting an extract from the title deed (list vlastníctva) in paper form for the applicable administrative fee pursuant to the Act on Administrative Fees. Free access to data from the real estate cadastre is provided by the cadastral portal https://kataster.skgeodesy.sk/eskn-portal/, as well as the portal www.cica.vugk.sk. Extracts from the real estate cadastre obtained from these portals are not public documents and cannot be used for legal acts – they serve informational purposes only.
