Retention of Slovak Citizenship

Have you acquired the citizenship of a foreign state? Under applicable legislation, you are obliged to notify the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic of this fact. At the same time, if you wish to retain your Slovak citizenship, you must, as part of this notification, demonstrate that you meet at least one of the statutory exceptions.

We provide our clients with comprehensive legal assistance in matters of citizenship retention. We assist with identifying eligibility to retain citizenship, with the preparation and filing of the notification, and with recommending the specific supporting documents suitable to substantiate that a statutory exception has been satisfied. We represent clients in correspondence with the Ministry of the Interior and carry out any related legal acts necessary for the effective assertion of their rights.
