What is the minimum contribution to a foundation?

The answer to your question is governed by Act No. 34/2002 Coll. on Foundations. Section 3 states that the foundation’s property also consists of the foundation endowment.

“The foundation endowment is the property of the foundation entered into the register. Upon the establishment of a foundation, it is formed by the property contributions of the individual founders. The value of the property contribution of each founder is at least 663 EUR. The basic value of the foundation endowment must be at least 6,638 EUR, and this basic value may consist only of monetary funds and real estate. Value exceeding 6,638 EUR may also consist of movable assets, securities, as well as other property rights and values assessable in monetary terms. The value of the foundation endowment cannot be reduced.”

It follows from the above that the minimum amount of the foundation endowment is 6,638 EUR.
