The apostille is issued in the official language of the country of issue of the document, therefore an official translation of the document is usually required for use abroad, which we can also provide for you.
We provide an apostille for Slovak personal documents – ID cards, passports, vehicle registration certificates, driver cards or other personal documents. In the case of a passport or an ID card, a notarized copy of the documents is apostilled. In the case of a passport, the double-page with the photo, for an ID card, the front and back side of the document. A power of attorney is also required, we will prepare it ourselves.
Registry documents should not be of an older issue than 6 months. In case you possess an older document, we recommend first requesting its duplicate from the registry office.
The original or the duplicate of the registry documents is apostilled directly. Only subsequently is the document officially translated.

An apostille proves the authenticity of the notary who verified the signature. The document must be signed directly by a notary or a notary candidate. It is not possible to apostille a verification if the certification clause was signed by another employee of the notary.
We apostille powers of attorney, affidavits, contracts, or other documents on which the signature was verified by a Slovak notary.
The text of the document may be in a foreign language. If you subsequently need an official translation of the notary clause and the apostille clause, we will provide the translation.
Often, individuals who studied in Slovakia need to use their educational documents abroad. For this purpose, institutions in the aforementioned countries require the attachment of an apostille to the diploma or the diploma supplement.
If you wish to keep the original document, we can also provide a notarized copy. We will handle the entire process, and the procedure will be as follows:
An apostille is required for the use of an extract from the Business Register abroad.
You only need to send us the ID number (IČO) and the name of the company; we will request the extract, provide the apostille, and, if interested, also an official translation.
A criminal record extract is issued either at the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Slovak Republic or at any Slovak Post branch within the Slovak Republic. Subsequently, the document can be apostilled. It is not possible to apostille a certified photocopy of the extract, but always only the original.
If the client is interested, we can also provide an official translation of the criminal record extract into the language of the state where they wish to use the document.

A public document issued by the tax office for use abroad is the so-called Certificate of Tax Residence.
The original Certificate of Tax Residence must be signed by a tax office employee and must also bear the circular red stamp of the relevant tax office with the state emblem (36 mm).
The document is issued by the tax office bilingually (Slovak and English), therefore it is not standardly translated.
If the Certificate of Tax Residence was delivered to your slovensko.sk electronic mailbox, you can simply send it to us by e-mail in ASICE format.
Foundation Charter Procedure for apostilling a Memorandum of Association:
If it is an older company, it is necessary to create a new version of the Foundation Charter or request a copy from the Collection of Deeds. After it is delivered to your slovensko.sk mailbox, you download the version in ASICE format and send it to us. We will take care of the rest of the process.
Our office can provide an apostille for an extract from the title deed, including translations. We can also provide a certificate stating that a person does not own any real estate in Slovakia.
If necessary, we can also request the extract on your behalf.
