Enumeration sheets from population censuses (census) from the territory of Slovakia have been kept since 1930. Censuses were subsequently held in 1939, 1940, 1950, 1961, 1970, 1980 and 1991.

In order to request census sheets, we will especially need the following data:

  • from which year you are requesting a census sheet
  • name and surname of your relative, his date of birth
  • address of the ancestor in the territory of the former Slovakia at the time of the census
  • relationship with an ancestor (e.g. grandfather / grandmother, etc.)
  • purpose of requesting the census sheet
  • Your data
